Tour du Pain

Terms of use

Version 2026-10-25

  1. Who we are. Tour du Pain is an indoor cycling game at tourdupain.app, made and run by WouterMedia (Wouter Hoonakker), Pierebaan 45, 1141 GV Monnickendam, the Netherlands, KvK 65271955, wouter@woutermedia.nl.
  2. The game. It's in testing: things change, break and get reset. We'll warn you before a reset that touches your rides or bread. The game is free to use at the moment.
  3. Your account. You need to be 16 or older. One account per person. Keep access to your email address and passkeys safe; anyone who can read your mail can sign in.
  4. Fair riding. Ride your own rides. Don't fake power, distance or speed, don't automate the game, and don't try to break or overload the service. Rides that look impossible are flagged and earn nothing; repeated abuse can get an account suspended.
  5. Names and behaviour. Pick a name that doesn't impersonate anyone and isn't offensive. We can change a name that breaks this rule.
  6. Baguettes and items are game points with no money value. They can't be sold or exchanged, and we may rebalance them.
  7. Connected services. You can connect a training platform such as TrainingPeaks. You choose to connect it, you can disconnect it at any time, and its own terms apply to what you keep there. We send only what the connection is for (your finished rides) and fetch only your planned workouts. Tour du Pain is not affiliated with or endorsed by TrainingPeaks, Strava or the Tour de France; their names and marks belong to their owners.
  8. Your health. Indoor cycling is hard work. Ride within your limits and stop if something feels wrong. The game gives no medical advice, and workouts in the game are not a substitute for advice from a doctor or coach.
  9. Your data is handled as described in the privacy notice at tourdupain.app/privacy.
  10. Liability. The game is provided as is. We're not liable for indirect damage or lost rides, except where the law says otherwise. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer.
  11. Ending. You can delete your account at any time. We can end or suspend an account that breaks these terms.
  12. Changes. If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the game before they apply.
  13. Law. Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless the law gives you the right to go to a court where you live.
